Great vintage Apollo mission collectible. This is a binder filled with 95 original 4" x 5" color transparencies (or positives) of the Apollo 14 mission from 1971, with astronauts Alan Shepard, Stuart Roosa and Edgar Mitchell and back-up crew of Eugene Cernan, Joe Engle and Ronald Evans. Features images from training, preparation, lift off, one shot of the moon, recovery, watch parties, personal / family shots and many others. I've tried to give a good cross-section in the photos. This comes from a collection that was previously owned by the American Space Museum in Titusville, FL.
Part of a large collection of original NASA material that was auctioned off by the museum. The transparencies come in individual sleeves, most of which have stickers attached showing the NASA catalog number for the image. As an example, 71-HC-216 108-KSC-71PC-85. Wonderful Apollo 14 archive full of rare images! Transparencies have some light surface wear from the years but are generally in really good shape.Don't let this rare lot get away! This is from a smoke-free environment. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Historical Memorabilia\Astronauts & Space Travel\Exploration Missions\Apollo".
