For sale, extremely desirable 11x14 original black and metallic ink on silver gelatin print of the Apollo 11 walkout, signed and dated 7/16/69 in silver by the photographer, Robert Davidoff and one of the featured astronauts, Buzz Aldrin! Robert Davidoff was born in New York and grew up in Brooklyn, studying photography before enlisting in the Navy in World War II.

He was awarded a Silver Star for rescuing a wounded sailor from waters off Normandy and after the war, became a society photographer in Florida, taking pictures of Winston Churchill, Frank Sinatra, Muhammad Ali, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Marlon Brando, and most famously, John F. For more than 40 years, Davidoff chronicled Kennedy and his family on their winter sojourns in Palm Bean, the Florida playground of the rich and well-connected. His images of a youthful John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline, looking at ease and effortlessly glamorous, helped solidify their image as America's royal family.

In 2008, Bob Davidoff's photos of the Kennedy's were posthumously published into a book entitled, The Kennedy Family Album: Personal Photos of America's First Family.
